Carrot Men with Noodle Guns (CMNG) is a total conversion mod of the Unreal 3 Engine based at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, AZ. Our group is comprised of students currently attending UAT. CMNG is the product of our attempt to enjoy ourselves while at the same time making fun and interesting things never before seen. CMNG features many jokes and satire and will introduce innovative gameplay that we hope will be both fascinating on a technical and design level as well as simplistic and enjoyable. We had our pitch yesterday for the possibility of a GDC (Game Developers Conference) sponsorship in San Francisco and we think it went pretty well. We will know for sure in two weeks what their decision is. For those of you that don’t know what GDC sponsorship is, it is the opportunity that our school, UAT (www.uat.edu ), offers to the attending students. They pick one of the game development project that students are working on and send them to GDC, all expenses paid. If we do get the sponsorship it will give us a greater chance to get our names out there in the industry and will give us a better chance at a job in the future.
